Here’s a look at one of our latest in-home consultations created by me, BoConcept Chicago’s Lead Designer. Take a peek inside this high-rise apartment in the beautiful Aqua tower in Chicago!

I wanted to create a masculine space that was not too formal or stuffy. Part of the fun with the in-home consultations is combining the existing space with new ideas. It’s a fun puzzle to work around these elements and create a holistic environment. Justin’s space already had paint colors and flooring when I got involved with the project, as well as existing pieces we wanted to leave in the space.

I started with the sofa, the clean lines of the Milos suited the space well as its low profile didn’t obstruct the fabulous view from the 79th floor. The sofa is dressed in BoConcept’s beautiful dark grey Bari fabric, reminiscent of suiting material. The tangerine valance above the window visually binds the caramel brown in the dining area with the oranges/corals in the throw pillows and artwork.

The dining room is clean and airy, but maintains its bachelor factor with the funky shelving and quirky accessories.

I teamed up with Brett Bulthuis Photography to capture these beautiful images of the space. Brett has been working as a photographer for over 8 years, and specializes in architectural and aerial imagery. Check out Brett’s work and other projects here!
