Just back from the annual BoConcept International Conference where the company’s movers and shakers flood into the small town of Herning, Denmark (where we found our roots in 1952), owner and President of BoConcept Chicago, Francisco Figueroa was eager to share details about whats in store for this fall!
From introducing new European, semi-commerical grade fabrics to a desk with built-in bluetooth compatibility, 2014 is sure to be another huge year for BoConcept. “Our extendable tables have been completely re-designed and they look amazing! They’re very architectural, with a completely new mechanism that lets you extend the table from 72″ to 103″ with one hand in just a few seconds.”
“We now offer three metal finishes. The new metal finishes also coordinate with the chairs and sideboard handles so your look is completely consistent. What I’m particularly excited is about our new round extendable table. Something our clients in the US have been asking for.” Figueroa said.
Also coming in September is a new sofa line that evokes the style of the 1960s. BoConcept product designer Niels Stendys was inspired to create the pieces after falling in love with a couch he discovered at a consignment store.
“The look and comfort, of course, have been updated for today. The sofa is paired with new steel sleigh legs that are very much reminiscent of what was shown in Milan.”
Another new concept being introduced this fall is our line of fully-customizable and affordable closet systems. “It has so many modules and components that we can use to satisfy any clients demands,” while still offering our free-standing units “with upgraded details and even more choices.”
As always, we’ll be introducing iconic pieces unique to the BoConcept lifestyle including striking thinner profile tabletops, bold colors and textures and furniture that is both beautiful and functional.
“We are very excited for our September collection!”
